Even though it is no longer the middle of winter, Snowdonia in Wales put on a great show of snow for us today. So beautiful in the stark contrast between the soft, white powder snow and the harsh purple, brown and black colours of the stone and slate mountains around. Magnificent and very peaceful too.

This afternoon on our walk from the car hire office in Dublin to our hotel in Croke Park, we came across a huge variety of Dublin front doors … I suppose it’s a mark of individuality when some streets include a row of houses that look very similar.
After a drive through Dublin and a walk through some of the streets, here are a collection of Dublin doors … each one different, sometimes in streets that are uniform in so many other ways.
